National Eye Health Week

As national Eye Health Week draws to an end, the OCCS would like to congratulate all involved in raising awareness of the importance of eye health and checks. The interest in activity by opticians and their representatives shines a light on important issues and risks which enable consumers to make informed decisions about their eye healthcare. The week has raised awareness of children’s eye health and importance of eye examinations and sight tests to prevent avoidable sight loss including diabetic related issues.

Well done to all and we welcome all activity to inform and advise patients.

Here is to the 7th NEHW in 2016.
